HVEA is excited to have been selected by the Dutchess County DPW for the Replacement of Bridge W-21 Stanford Road over the East Branch of Wappinger Creek in the Town of Stanford. This bridge location is unique in that the Millbrook Dam is located immediately upstream of the bridge. In fact, the northern wingwalls of the bridge form part of the training wall along the dam’s spillway channel. Primary design services will include structural, geotechnical, environmental and hydraulic analysis for this challenging bridge replacement project.
