The Westchester County Department of Public Works & Transportation has selected HVEA for the Reconstruction of the Boston Post Road Bridge over Playland Parkway in Rye, NY. This 60′ long structure is a single span, stone faced concrete arch constructed in 1941. Improvements will include bridge rehabilitation/replacement, geotechnical, drainage and vertical clearance upgrades. With an ADT of 10,300 and with the Playland Amusement Park located along the Playland Parkway, work zone traffic control will be a key consideration.
