Taconic State Parkway Reconstruction

HVEA provided construction inspection services for this widening and realignment of the Taconic State Parkway in Westchester County, NY. HVEA was part of a team of three firms overseeing the construction.

The project included:

  • Reconstruction and widening of 3 miles of busy roadway
  • Construction of two bridges
  • Installation of a new closed drainage system
  • Complex maintenance and protection of traffic scheme with daily lane closures and staged construction
  • Installation of concrete curbs, guiderail and signage
  • Stormwater management under a Phase II SPDES permit
