HVEA was awarded our first Bridge NY Funded project through a qualifications based selection. For this $2.9M project, HVEA is providing the preliminary and final design services for the Replacement of the Hillside Avenue Bridge over the Mamaroneck River, PIN 8761.55. This replacement project will follow the Procedures for Locally Administered Federal Aid Projects and has an accelerated schedule requiring an 18 month construction start date in order to meet the Bridge NY requirements. Services include:  bridge replacement design, hydraulic analysis, scour protection, multi-agency coordination, SHPO coordination, ROW acquisition, and construction support and inspection services.
