HVEA was awarded the design for an .8 mile segment of an abandoned County owned Ulster & Delaware Railroad ROW into a rail trail/urban linear park in the City of Kingston. It will serve non-motorized transportation and recreational uses. Services include the design of a trail section, drainage, safety (signage/access/crossings), privacy and security, trailhead at the former railroad storage and maintenance yard, removal of existing tracks and ties and environmental considerations.
