HVEA provides a full complement of environmental services for transportation design projects throughout New York State. HVEA has extensive experience progressing projects in the sensitive NYCDEP watershed and has developed a unique expertise in producing and implementing SWPPP’s, erosion control measures, implementation of best practices and wetland impact mitigation as well as navigating the often challenging environmental permitting process.

In addition, HVEA’s environmental staff also serve as erosion control specialists as well as acquire SPDES permits during construction.  HVEA monitors contractor operations and ensures that construction projects satisfy the demanding requirements of the evolving environmental regulations and best practices.
